Mona L. Jodoin

Mona L. Jodoin is an associate lawyer at Smith Neufeld Jodoin. She joined the firm as an Articling Student in 1997. Mona was born and raised in rural Ontario, the eighth child of nine. Mona was a diligent athlete in her pre-law years and turned to track and weightlifting after high school. Mona pursued a career in business in her early years, which led her into the world of computers. She returned to university in 1993, completing her Bachelor of Arts with distinction, while working as a computer consultant. Mona graduated from the University of Manitoba with her Bachelor of Laws Degree in May of 1997, and was called to the Bar in June of 1998. Mona's preferred areas of practice are civil litigation, employment law, real estate, and wills and estate planning. Mona spends most of her time at the main Smith Neufeld Jodoin office in Steinbach, but also maintains our branch office in Ile Des Chenes on Wednesday afternoons. Mona is the sister of Marcel Jodoin, the senior civil litigator at Smith Neufeld Jodoin, and the two often work as a team on their litigation matters. Mona and her husband Leo Gratton are the proud parents of two beautiful but very busy young boys, Daniel and Bradyn, and have recently moved to Ile des Chenes, Manitoba.
