Grant M. Driedger
Grant has been with Smith Neufeld Jodoin LLP in Steinbach since January of 2008. He graduated from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law in 2001, after receiving an entrance scholarship and awards for highest standing in Taxation and Criminal Procedure. He completed his articles at a Winnipeg law firm and was called to the bar in 2002. He practiced in Winnipeg until 2003 when he joined a Steinbach firm. Grant's current practice primarily involves litigation, and he has appeared before courts and tribunals on cases involving a broad variety of circumstances, including employment matters, personal injuries claims, debt collection, residential tenancy matters, estate issues and criminal cases. His practice also encompasses a secondary emphasis on real estate and wills and estate matters. Since 2008 he has been an adjudicator on Review Tribunals hearing appeals of disability cases under the Canada Pension Plan. Grant lives in Grunthal with his wife, Allison and son Liam. He has served with many organizations in a volunteer capacity, including non-profit, church and political activities. He actively participates in various sports activities, especially hockey and baseball.
